Clearing at NASDAQ OMX Nordic

NASDAQ OMX Nordic offers a fully integrated Nordic derivatives market with cost efficient, anonymous trading in standardized Swedish, Norwegian, Finnish, Danish, Icelandic, Russian and Baltic equity derivatives instruments and Central Counterparty clearing with straight through processing. Customers are also offered a clearing service for inter-bank traded fixed income derivatives, trading and clearing of tailor-made derivatives contracts (TMC) on listed shares, tradable indexes, custom-made indexes and interest rate products.

NASDAQ OMX Nordic is also running a number of initiatives to increase market liquidity and further strengthen the Nordic equity market’s attraction to both local and international investors. A key initiative is the launch of a central counterparty clearing (CCP) mechanism for Nordic cash equity trading.
