AccountsNASDAQ OMX Derivatives Markets account structure is organized into two account groups:
• Member clearing accounts
The difference between the two account groups lies in the contractual arrangements. Member clearing accounts have no contractual relationship with us, the clearinghouse, except for the membership agreement, while end-customer clearing accounts are opened when an end-customer enters into an agreement with us, in other words, end-customer clearing accounts have a contractual relationship with the clearing house.
Account set up
A NASDAQ OMX derivatives membership provides a unique member ID. The member ID is one part of the unique string for each account.
The NASDAQ OMX Derivatives Markets account structure consists of three identifiers:
1. Exchange ID (SE for NASDAQ OMX)
Each member has one member ID. In some cases it is necessary to setup more than one member ID, e.g. a market maker set up will have its own ID. The additional prefix (-es) separates transaction flows and the user access is different. |
