Overview

NASDAQ OMX is a full-service index provider dedicated to designing powerful indexes that are in sync with a continually changing market environment.

The NASDAQ OMX European index portfolio contains indexes for the Nordic and Baltic markets. In addition to other European Markets, these tradable, all-share, sector and benchmark indexes span both equity and fixed income. NASDAQ OMX is the largest provider of equity and fixed income indexes in the Nordic region and calculates approximately 1,800 indexes and more than 550 of which are customized indexes. In addition to index design, NASDAQ OMX provides calculation, licensing and marketing services, along with custom index solutions as a third-party provider.

NASDAQ OMX disseminates real-time values for its indexes and listed ETFs throughout the trading day. Additionally, we compile and distribute the component securities for index-based products.

Nordic Index Weights
Consists of Nordic information sufficient to calculate all NASDAQ OMX Nordic indexes. (Internal Use Only.)

Nordic & Baltic Index Weights Bundled
Consists of Nordic and Baltic information sufficient to calculate all NASDAQ OMX Nordic indexes. (Internal Use Only.)

Nordic Indexes Redistributor
Entitles unlimited redistribution of Nordic Indexes on controlled and/or data-feed products.

Global Index Watch (GIW)
NASDAQ OMX offers direct access to global index data via Global Index Watch (GIW) . Available through our redistribution partners or our easy-to-use web interface, GIW provides index weights and components, including advanced notification of corporate actions, as well as real-time, daily and historical index values for NASDAQ OMX indexes. https://indexes.nasdaqomx.com/

Nordic Index Calculation License
Entitles the right to calculate index values and weights from Nordic real-time Information and distribute externally.

Nordic Index End of Day
The content of the Nordic Index End of Day product is:

• Listing details (ISIN, ticker code, etc.)
• Index value (opening, closing, highest and lowest)
• Percentage change to previous closing value

Global Index Data Service (GIDS)
Premier global index data feed service, offering real-time updates, daily summary messages, and access to the most widely followed indexes and ETFs in the world. GIDS cover all NASDAQ OMX indexes; including Nordic and Baltic.

End of Day Summary Information
NASDAQ OMX Global Index Services provides official end-of-day summary statistics in a single message format that includes:

• Open, High, Low, Closing values
• Net Change, Net Change Direction
• Settlement Identifier, Settlement Value
• Closing Market Value

Firms, individual investors and traders may access real-time data through a number of authorized NASDAQ OMX market data vendors, who provide both display devices and data feed products containing NASDAQ OMX real-time data.

Directly from NASDAQ OMX
NASDAQ OMX offers direct access to global index data via Global Index Watch (GIW). Available from data vendors or our easy-to-use web interface, GIW provides index weights and components, including advanced notification of corporate actions, as well as real-time, daily and historical index values for NASDAQ OMX indexes.

Trading firms and market data vendors may also access real-time data from Nordic and Baltic markets by connecting to Genium Consolidated Feed information distribution system.
 

Pricing

Agreements and Forms

To order this data on a stand-alone terminal/controlled display product, end users or end-user firms should contact their market data vendor for the appropriate agreements and forms.

To initiate this data on a data feed, firms must submit the appropriate documentation and receive prior approval from NASDAQ OMX:

• Data Feed Request Form - Required for all firms

• NASDAQ OMX Global Data Agreement - Required for all firms prior to initiation of the first NASDAQ OMX data service only

• System Application - Required for firms only if the data will be displayed or used in a system that is not yet approved by NASDAQ OMX
