The NASDAQ OMX exchanges in Copenhagen, Helsinki, Stockholm, Tallinn, Riga, and Vilnius offers easy access for members to route orders to the U.S. and Canadian markets for execution. The service is based on members utilising existing FIX communication to the trading platform INET for Nordic equities. NASDAQ OMX has partnered with a broker who acts as the executing broker on the U.S. and Canadian markets.

• All orders are routed by NASDAQ OMX Stockholm AB to one broker for execution on the U.S. and Canadian markets
• Execution, clearing and settlement are effected according to the same principles used by many members  when trading on foreign markets
• Orders are executed at National Best Bid Offer (NBBO)
• Settlement via settlement agent of member’s own choice
• Members send orders to NASDAQ OMX through existing FIX communication to INET
• Routing hours: 13:00 CET – 22:00 CET
• The service routes orders to the US on all US business days and to Canada on all Canadian business days

Service Description

The routing of orders is available for the following instruments:

• U.S. Equities
• U.S. ETFs
• ADRs
• Canadian Equities.

Limit orders only are accepted for routing with time in force: DAY, IOC, and FOK.

Short selling is not supported for the time being.
