With Norwegian equities, NASDAQ OMX Nordic now enables customers to trade all equities listed on a major Nordic market on one platform.

The NASDAQ OMX Stockholm trading offering includes the most liquid shares and ETFs listed in Norway. We have admitted 31 most liquid shares listed on Oslo Stock Exchange’s regulated market to trading on NASDAQ OMX Stockholm. Below you will find a short description for each of the companies traded on this Trading List.

The three Norwegian shares newly listed on Oslo Stock Exchange’s regulated market are admitted to trading on First North Stockholm MTF and traded on the First North Trading List. The same NASDAQ OMX trading rules and high quality market surveillance used for trading equities with primary listing on NASDAQ OMX Nordic markets is also applied for trading all equities with a primary listing in Norway. 

Facts on Norwegian trading:

• Requirements: Membership at NASDAQ OMX Stockholm, participant in EMCF, directly or via General Clearing Participant and party to VPS in Norway directly or via a custodian.
• Trading platform: INET. Trading is arranged in two markets: NASDAQ OMX Stockholm and First North Stockholm.
• Applicable rules: NASDAQ OMX Member Rules.
• Trading currency: NOK.
• Round lot: One instrument unit.
• Nordic Order Routing, a service for seeking the best price, is available for Norwegian shares.
• Trading hours: Same as NASDAQ OMX Stockholm: Full day: 9.00 – 17.25 CET (Closing 17.25 – 17.30). Half day: 9.00 – 12.55 CET (Closing 12.55 – 13.00)

Efficient post trade model

CCP service, provided by European Multilateral Clearing Facility (EMCF) is available for all trades executed on Norwegian shares on NASDAQ OMX Nordic.
