NASDAQ OMX has a large and well functioning Fixed Income market in Copenhagen which is among the largest in Europe measured both by turnover, volume and number of bonds. NASDAQ OMX Stockholm is in the center of the Swedish Fixed Income Market. NASDAQ OMX Stockholm supports the Swedish Fixed Income Market by several markets and additional market place services. The Fixed Income market in Iceland is probably one of the most efficient markets in the world, where more than half of the trading is done on-exchange. Iceland´s Fixed Income market is the third largest in OMX. NASDAQ OMX offers listing and electronic trading for fixed income instruments at NASDAQ OMX Helsinki. Most of the bonds listed on NASDAQ OMX Helsinki are structured products and bank certificates. There are currently more than 400 bonds listed on the exchange. NASDAQ OMX supports the Nordic fixed income market with central counterparty clearing of interest rate derivatives. The majority of the clearing is done in 3 month forward rate agreements (FRA) and treasury forwards. |
