 Market Access
Direct Market Access (DMA) DMA gives clients of the member the ability to have an electronic connection to the trading platform without becoming members themselves. Clients submit orders electronically to the member which are then automatically routed through internal systems and controls of the firm and onto the trading system.
For equities, the right to use DMA may be granted upon application. For derivatives, a DMA agreement (Appendix 1B in the rules) must be signed.
Sponsored Access (SA) SA is an electronic access arrangement under which an exchange member has permitted its client to transmit orders in the member's membership identity directly to the trading system (i.e. a direct line).
The right to use SA may be granted upon application.
